How does ordering work?
The shop is stocked fresh throughout the week, so you can order any time. Choose next-day farmstand pickup, local delivery, or NY shipping at checkout. Local delivery is free on orders $40+ and NY shipping is free on orders $75+.
Can I pick up at the farmers market?
Yes! Order by Wednesday 9pm and choose Thursday market pickup, and your treats will be waiting for you at the market. Miss the cutoff? Next-day farmstand pickup and local delivery are always open.
What happens when an item sells out?
Every batch is a fixed quantity, but the shelf is restocked throughout the week. If your favorite is sold out today, tap the notify button on its page and we'll email you the moment it's back.
Where do I pick up my order?
At our farmstand in Elmira, NY. Pickup is available starting the day after you order. You'll choose a date and time window at checkout, and we'll have your order ready when you arrive.
Do you offer local delivery?
Yes! Local delivery within 20 miles of Elmira, NY is free on orders $40+ ($4.99 under $40). Choose Local Delivery at checkout and enter your address to confirm eligibility. Delivery runs go out every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
When will my local delivery arrive?
Deliveries go out every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Order by the evening before and your treats are usually on the very next run. We'll confirm your delivery day by email.
Where do you ship?

How do custom orders work?
Custom orders have a $200 minimum, need 2 weeks' notice, and are held with a 50% non-refundable deposit. Submit an inquiry on the Custom Orders page. Submitting does not guarantee availability.
Are all products gluten-free?
Yes. Bake Against The Grain is a 100% gluten-free bakery. No wheat-based products are made or stored in our kitchen, and we do not use shared equipment.
Do you handle other allergens?
We work in a gluten-free kitchen, but other allergens (dairy, eggs, nuts, soy) may be present. Check individual product pages for allergen notes, and message us before ordering if you have additional dietary needs.
Can I request a custom theme?
